Dean A. Feltmann - CEO/President

Feltmann Roofing President Dean Feltmann, started his first construction company in 1978. He brought his company to South Carolina over 30 years ago, and has built a solid reputation in the Lowcountry founded on the company's expertise in commercial and residential roofing systems and general contracting.

Heather A. Howell - CFO/Executive Director

Having been in the construction industry during the wrath of Hurricane Hugo, Heather felt right at home here with Feltmann. Her instinct for leadership, attention to detail and organization landed her in the perfect position. Born and raised in North Carolina, she exudes southern hospitality. Over the years she has worn many hats throughout business and does what it takes to make companies efficient and profitable. She has 3 incredible children, who are her greatest blessing. She loves nature, campfire smoke, exploring diversity in humanity and creating a lived-in luxe life.

Peter B. Reeves - Senior Estimator

Peter was Senior Vice President at Covenant Development Corporation where he developed retirement communities all over the Southeast. His success at Covenant launched him into founded Drexel Mead Development Corp. where he concentrated on commercial real estate sales where he excelled for 35 years. He has been with Feltmann, Inc. for 18 years. Peter loves to travel around the country with his beautiful wife.

Gary Carmichael - Residential Estimator

Joining our residential estimating team in 2013, Gary has been a fantastic addition to Feltmann, Inc. He has a Communications degree from Appalachian State and is very personable and honest with his clients as he takes his job to heart. He loves biking on the beach, surfing and enjoying nature with his sidekick Artemus.

Michael Pedersen - Commercial Estimator

Michael was born on a farm in southern Indiana and raised in Elizabethtown, Kentucky.  He graduated from the University of Kentucky (Go Wildcats! ) with a bachelor’s in chemistry.  After graduation, he moved to Hilton Head “for the summer.” Michael is married and has three beautiful girls; a twelve year old and twin two year olds.  Michael calls James Island home now.  When giving the opportunity, he enjoys time on the Lowcountry’s beautiful waterways.  He enjoys exploring James Island County Park, whether it is on bicycles, walking behind a stroller, or on the stand up paddle board.  He and his wife take pleasure in Charleston’s rich culinary scene, preferably without the kids!

George Jacobs - Field Specialist

Having come from a varied background of landscaping, CNC work and extensive metal fabrication, George was brought into the Feltmann team over 15 years ago. He is our lead leak specialist, problem solver and quality assurance supervisor. He enjoys his family and being a support for his community.
